Dressed to the nines
Any night begins first at home with a supply of clothes, a mirror and imagination!When you are dressed to the nines, it means that you follow the fashion perfectly. For example, you can say “If we’re going to the cocktail paty We’d better get dressed to the nines!”
Grab a bite to eat
Better to nibble a bit before starting the serious stuff on the dance floor in particular.Go grab something to say grabbing a bite to eat. For example you can ask your friends “Do you want to grab a bite to eat Before we go out?”
Go and catch a flick
